INTERACTIONS: 

Explore the idea of opening up my creative process to possibilities of "performance" with my own work; which I call "Interactions". They illustrate the close symbiotic relationship an artist can have with his work as well as the "moving" the work into different dymensions and possibilities.

Interaction #1: MIRAGE

Series of photos documenting the use of my body to better understand the nuanced surface of a painting in progress, while simultaneously creating another piece; the photographs themselves.

Interaction #2: PLATO'S CAVE

Still photos of shadow "interaction"  video with my painting entiled "The Cave". Photos are from a series that illustrates "shadow contortions" as I attempt to assume the linear shapes and forms in  the painting

Interaction #3: The Animist 

Still photos of an interaction piece "documenting the mystical journey of a "shaman"  through a "portal" (tree stump), which leads to a "spiritually charged place"; a metaphore for exploring deeper levels of the creative process.

Interaction #4: Sacrifice for Survival

Series of computer manipulated photo's documenting choriographed movents, interpreting a horseshoe crab's migration accross the sea to it's nesting grounds.
